Jay Evans

Growing up in East Tennessee, Jay moved to Washington, DC where he worked as an apprentice for a prestigious cabinet maker. He learned all phases of residential construction, working on projects featured in major construction publications. After a stint as a professional guitarist in Los Angeles, he opened his own cabinet and custom renovation shop. Emphasis on quality and customer service earned him a reputation as the “go-to” guy in Washington, DC for custom cabinets and renovations.

Now licensed in Florida, Evans Designs is rapidly growing and earning a reputation as the top custom renovations company in Central Florida. Jay is supported by his wonderful wife and three children.

Meke Kattan – Chief Operations Officer

Meke’s extraordinary customer-oriented mindset and his ability to communicate well are but a couple of his assets which make him one of our best. He speaks English, Spanish and Hebrew fluently.

Meke and his family relocated from Israel to Clearwater, Florida, and has been part of Evans Design & Build since early 2020. In addition to being our COO, he’s also a professional public speaker and hosts an online portal allowing investors worldwide to participate in high-yielding projects.

Diego Iglesias – Senior Project Manager

A high-performance project manager and a business coach, Diego, is in charge of ensuring projects are executed in a timely manner, that the craftsmanship is up to our standards, and that they get completed on time.
Diego joins us with his wife, Giselle, who is an architect, so it goes without saying that we’re proud to have them both on the Evans Design & Build team.

Diego is also an extremely talented opera singer and theater producer with several productions performed in Florida.
